Ann E. Minar, 96, of Munroe Falls, entered into rest on Monday, May 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in her home.

She was born August 30, 1925, in Cleveland, the daughter of the late James E. and Norma Jorns String.

A homemaker, Ann was a member of United Church of Christ in Tallmadge. She was a member of the Garden Forum of Akron and the Stow Woman's Club. Ann had a remarkable green thumb and was an avid gardener.

She was married on May 17, 1952, to Edwin Minar and he precedes her in death.

Ann is survived by two children Larry (Sharon) Minar of Lawrenceville, GA; and Russell (Diane) Minar of Lakemore, Ohio; by three grandchildren Brittany, Amber, and Aaron Minar; and by a great grandson Noah.

Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her son Steven Minar and by two brothers James and Ralph String.

A caring cremation will take place under the direction of the Crown Hill Funeral Home, Twinsburg. Inurnment will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery.
