Barry Frank Ely, 71, of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025. He was born in Willoughby, Ohio on July 28, 1953, to the late William and Betty Ely (maiden name Nuniviller). Barry attended Riverside Highschool and graduated in 1972. Barry was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Ely, and his sister-in-law, Diane Ely.

Barry will be missed dearly by his family. Loving father of Heather Elizabeth Ely, Bradly James (Katya) Ely, and Kevin Michael Ely; cherished grandfather of Brianna Ely, Nikolai Ely, and Sophee Ely; dear brother of Bonnie Ely and William Ely Jr.; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Visitation and funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Service at 11am. Inurnment at Crown Hill Cemetery at 12 noon.
