Bernard Joseph Zawitz, 88, of Solon, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025. He was born on March 17, 1937, in Little Washington, Pennsylvania to the late Saul and Gertrude Zawitz (nee Lipp). Bernard was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Lynn Zawitz.

Bernard will be missed dearly by his family. Beloved husband of Karen Zawitz (nee Kerkel); loving father of Mathew Zawitz, Nicholas (Kristen) Zawitz, Michael Zawitz, Randy Zawitz, Robin Zawitz, and Christy Zawitz; cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Stanley Shane and Steven Zawitz and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 11:45 am at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Immediately following the family will receive family and friends for calling hours 12 – 2pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.
