Betty J. Barnish (aka Cracky), 92, of Macedonia, formerly a long-time resident of Twinsburg, passed away on July 2, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1934, in Whitby, West Virginia to Joseph Sylvie and Eliza Estelline (Harvey) Pack. She was a person everyone was immediately drawn to; maybe it was her blue eyes, southern accent or just the goodness of her soul. She cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends.

Betty never met a flower she didn’t love- she enjoyed gardening and caring for her extensive flower beds.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Frank Barnish; parents, Joseph Sylvie and Eliza Pack; her son, Harold Neal Cooper; granddaughter, Tracey; and her siblings, Danny Pack, Irene Sizemore, Aileen Farley, and Nina Lloyd.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Kearney and Nancy Barnish-Hunter (David Goldfarb); grandchildren, Pamela Noonan (Mark), Patrick Kearney, Michael Kearney, Kevin Kearney, Tiffany Neal (Tim), Sarah Precurato (Joe), Jonathan Cooper, Mindy Biscan (Kent), and Meghan Tedrick (Ben); great grandchildren, Connor Noonan, Jackson Noonan, Makayla Kearney, Michael Kearney Jr, Patrick Kearney Jr (Sydney), Aidan Kearney (Julia), Carter Precurato, Ashton Precurato, Gabby Neal, Claire Cooper, Nathan Cooper, Piper Cooper, Otis Biscan, Viera Biscan, Cooper Biscan, Foster Biscan, Sam Tedrick, and Norah Tedrick; great-great grandchildren Lincoln Rodriquez and Clara Kearney; many loving nieces and nephews; and her loving companion, her dog, Buddy.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. A brief visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 9080 Shepard Road, Macedonia, Ohio 44056 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 AM. Her graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.
