Betty J. Nichol, 90, passed away on March 17, 2023. She was born on October 4, 1932, in West Virginia. She and her husband, David Nichol, enjoyed fifty one years of marital bliss prior to his passing in 2003. From their union, they had 4 children; Linda (deceased), Anita, Patricia (deceased) and Laura (deceased). Betty is survived by her sister; Mary Taylor and had 7 siblings who preceded her in death; William, Harold, Charles, Donald, Jacquelyn, Melvin, and Billy. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her brother-in- law Albert (Pauline) Nichol. Betty was blessed with her 3 grandchildren; John, Jim ( Sheena ) , and David; 6 great grandchildren; Hope, Quentin, Hailey, Bobbie, Vivi, Julie, and Lilly. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Her hobbies included Bingo, crossword puzzles, watching the Warriors basketball games, game shows, the King and Queens, and Mike and Mollie television series, gardening, and driving her car anytime the opportunity arose. Betty was very independent and she was cooking her own food, running errands, and washing her clothes until just a few short months ago. She was a vibrant yet quiet lady. Betty always made sure her hair was in place as she wore her characteristic blue mascara, and she was always fashionably dressed for the day.

Friends may join her family for visitation on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 10 AM - 11 AM at New Life Church, 911 Orchard Avenue, Aurora, OH 44202, where her funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM at church. Graveside service will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio.
