Beverly Joan Uthe (nee Bailey), age 76, of Solon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 25, 2023.  Beverly was born July 17, 1946, in Ironton, OH to Ross and Mildred (Legg) Bailey and grew up in South Point, OH with her brothers Ed (Connie) and Phil (Linda).  Beverly loved to travel, garden, and take casino trips with her friends.  She also loved cuddling with her dachshunds, Gabby & Ruby, and especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Beverly retired from Allstate Insurance Company after 24 years and she cherished the friendships she made with those she worked with.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 27 years, Alan Uthe, as well as daughters Kimberly Schlue, Susan Leach (Chad), and Sherry Kolonyi (John).  She also leaves behind eight grandchildren who were the lights of her life: Derek, Baylee, Lexi, Avery, Ryan, Grant, Sydney, and Victoria. Everyone who knew Beverly loved her because of her kind heart, gentle nature, and wonderful sense of humor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023  from 11 am - 1 pm followed by a 1 pm Funeral Service at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road in Twinsburg Ohio. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
