Brandon M. West, 41, of Twinsburg, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 4:25 p.m. in Twinsburg.

He was born December 14, 1980 in Garfield Heights, the son of Arthur and Mary LaBatte West and was a lifelong area Twinsburg resident.

A 1999 graduate of Twinsburg High School, Brandon was a self-employed carpenter.

He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Summit Lodge #213 and Tai Chi in Twinsburg under sensei Tim.  Brandon enjoyed horticulture, reading and hiking with his dogs.  He also enjoyed deep conversations over a plethora of subjects.  He had a very enthusiastic interest in philosophy and spirituality.

Brandon leaves behind his mother, Mary LaBatte West with whom he made his home in Twinsburg; his brother Jacob (Noelle) West of North Augusta, SC; his companion Shirley Mellado of Georgia and by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, brother Masons and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Arthur West.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.

His brother Masons of Summit Lodge #213 will hold a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Brandon's name to Free and Accepted Masons Summit Lodge #213, 9545 Shepherd Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.
