Calvin Curtis Simmons passed from this world to the hands of the Lord on May 30, 2013. Curt, as he was known to most, was born September 23, 1928 to Geneva and Booker T. Simmons (now deceased) in Anderson, South Carolina. He spent most of his adult life in Cleveland, Ohio and he was employed by the US Postal Service after serving in the Air Force. He was wed to Mary C. Lee, who preceded him in death in 1985. Curt is survived by two sons - Michael and Christopher Simmons, and a host of nieces and nephews. Calvin was a loving and devoted son, husband and father and he will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends TUESDAY JUNE 4, 2013 FROM 10: 00 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF FUNERAL SERVICES AT 12:00P.M. AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 8592 DARROW RD. (0NE HALF MILE S. OF I-480 RT. 91 EXIT). Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
