Carol Ann Gschwind, 66, of Troy Township, Ohio, lost her battle with cancer on April 2nd, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Cleveland Heights, OH on August 26th, 1959 to the late Peter and Edna Tarbell. Carol was proceeded in death by her parents and her in-laws Daryl and Esther Gschwind.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Gschwind; her daughters, Tiffany Gnuschke (Paul), Brittany Swaney (Kyle), and Courtney Wallace (Ryan); and her eight cherished grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life.

Carol enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life meaningful. She loved crocheting and painting ceramics, often creating pieces that her family will treasure forever. She made countless memories camping with her loved ones, and she also enjoyed trips to the casino, shopping, and riding motorcycles.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. A funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10 am, also at Crown Hill. Interment to immediately follow service at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Her warmth, strength, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.Carol’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
