Carol Jean Harris (nee Zagin), age 80, of Solon, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2023.  She was born in Cleveland on January 11,1943 and adopted by her parents Harold and Virginia Zagin (nee Gempel).

Carol will be remembered for her kindness and compassion, her beautiful home and gardens, her many cherished Shih Tzu companions, her latest fur-baby, Ginger.

Carol retired at the age of 70 from over three decades working in Sales at All Foils, Inc.  She was fortunate to meet countless people who became friends during her travels as far away as Korea.

Along with her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her adoring husband of 30 years, Charles Harris and brother James Zagin.

Carol will be sorely missed by her family. Loving mother of Lisa (Chris) Sanders, James (Crystal) Santa Maria, and Michael Santa Maria; cherished grandmother of Jeff Kirchgessner, Mariah Santa Maria, Nita Collins, Evelyn Woods, Nelson Rhodus, and Mario Santa Maria; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; dear sister of Ralph (Linda) Sajewski, Linda (Larry) Dean, Julie Meyers, Donna (Bob) Lemmo, Micki Kincaid, Nancy Zagin, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carol's name to the Salvation Army.
