Carol Jean Shood, 86, of Twinsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 11, 1937, to the late Melvin and Frances Willis (nee Sanders). Carol was preceded in death by her husband, David William Shood; and her brother, Donald Willis.

Carol had a joyful spirit and loved to dance, especially to her big band music. Carol liked sewing as she made her own wedding dress. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, canning, and loved to travel. Carol loved to go camping and enjoyed going on cruises with her husband. Carol and David lived in Ft. Myers, Florida for a while and enjoyed their time there until David became ill.

Carol will be dearly missed by her family. Loving mother of Cathy (Vince) Bove, Christine (Joe) Sebok, and David Shood (fiancé, Jody Tomes); cherished grandmother of Nicholas Sebok, Ashley Bove, Sierra Shood, and Alexandria Shood; dear mother-in-law of Susie Shood; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation and funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Viewing from 11 am to 1pm. Funeral mass at 1 pm. Interment at 2 pm at Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family welcomes you to a reception in Carol's honor at the home of her son, David Shood, 3162 Killingworth, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087 from 2:30 – 5:30 pm.
