Cynthia F. Beck, 63, of Cleveland, entered peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 6:40 pm at Malachi House in Cleveland.

She was born January 16, 1959, in Cleveland the daughter of the late Chester P. Sr. and Marywilda Tompkins Beck and was a lifelong area resident.

Cindy was a graduate of Garfield Heights High School and furthered her education with a bachelor's degree in education from Akron University holding a certificate in special education of developmental handicapped, learning disabilities and severe behavioral handicapped.

Her teaching career began at Our Lady of Angels St. Joseph Center where she taught with Catholic Charities as a special education teacher for over 25 years and was site director for Camp Happiness.

Cindy was currently employed by Adecco as the culinary steward for Nestle USA.

Of the Lutheran faith, Cindy was a faithful and active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Garfield Heights where she was Sunday school teacher and sat on the board of trustees. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing beautiful needle point.

Fond memories of Cindy will always be remembered by her siblings Cheryl B. (Robert) Jensik of Northfield Center, Chester (Dana) Beck Jr. of Seven Hills; by a sister-in-law Kelly Beck of Garfield Heights; by nieces and nephews Jennifer (fiancée Jerry Iovine) Jensik, David (Chelsea) Jensik, Jillian (Dave) Morris; Jocelyn Beck, and Meghan McGuire; by a great niece Lillian Morris; and by a very close cousin Catherine (Kenneth) Deffibaugh.

Besides her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by a brother Craig Beck.

A wake will take place on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service in the funeral home.

A Parlor Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, with Rev. Dr. Christian F. Just as celebrant. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Cindy's name to Malachi House, 2810 Clinton Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44113.
