Danielle D. Wargo, 81, of Hudson, entered peacefully into eternal life on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 7:10 p.m. in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family under the comforting care of hospice.

She was born March 16, 1941, in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Cleon and Erma Thompson Ruby and was a lifelong area resident.

A homemaker, Danielle was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, bird watching and cats. While others hated winter, it was her favorite time of year, and she enjoyed the festiveness of Christmas.

Loving memories of Danielle will forever be remembered by her companion of 22 years Roger A. Basom, with whom she made her home in Hudson; her son Steven (Lisa) Wargo of Gates Mills; by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Danielle was preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Jirousek and a son Brian Wargo and by her three brothers Donnie, Charles, and Lyle Ruby.

Graveside service will take place on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Danielle's name to Cleveland Clinic Hospice 6801 Brecksville Road Unit 10, Cleveland, Ohio 44131 or to Cleveland Animal Protective League 1729 Willey Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44113.
