Donald Glenn Myers, 92, of Stow, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio on July 20, 1931, to the late Donald and Grace Myers (nee Espeseth). Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Myers.

Donald will be missed dearly by his family. Beloved husband and companion for over 70 years, Janet L. Myers (nee Housel); loving father of Vickie (David Scott) Paradis, Karen Warren, and Wendy Myers Kennedy; cherished grandfather of Robert (Melanie) Warren, Laura (Ryan) Yost, Corrine Stockman, Donald (Mary) Kennedy, and Benjamin (Kyla) Paradis; dear great-grandfather of Hannah, Holly, Skye, Donald, Dee Dee, Kye, Otto, Cole, Rosalind, Max, and Sawyer; and a host of extended family and dear friends

Don lived in the Akron area his entire life spending the last 56 years in Stow. Don worked at the Ford plant in Bedford almost from the day it opened until retirement Don had many interests and hobbies. He was an active member of the Masons for over 40 years.

One of Don's favorite hobbies was fishing and he had a lifelong love of it, sunfish being one of his favorite catches (besides his wife.). He enjoyed working in the yard and making sure it looked beautiful,  something he enjoyed doing into his 90s. Don was an avid reader and loved to travel with his wife and family. He had a passion for bike riding and rode for the Metro Parks bike patrol for over 20 years. He spent many hours carving and was active with several groups of carvers leaving behind several treasures for the family. With his wife Jan beside him he earned over 19 badges from the Metro parks hiking sprees that adorn his walking stick. Beloved husband and father, friend to many always active, loved. He is missed.
