Doreen Frances Ruffner (nee Volek), 84, of Twinsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank and Mildred Volek (nee Cmunt). Doreen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer Ruffner.

Doreen will be dearly missed by her family. Loving mother of Michael Kolcaba and Karen (James) Volin; dear stepmom of Leonard Ruffner and Roxanne (Les) Rowe; cherished sister of Robert (Trudy) Volek; dear cousin of Barb Ward; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Visitation from 2:00 – 400 pm. Memorial service at 4 pm. Inurnment at Crown Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
