Dorla Towslee, nee Packard passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on July 18, 2022, at the age of 88.

Dorla was born on June 7, 1934, in Chatham, OH.  She was raised on a farm where she developed her love for animals.  She started her career as a medical and dental assistant in Lodi, Ohio until she married her beloved husband John Towslee in June of 1964.  She enjoyed the balance of "career" as a stay home mom.  Dorla played the piano, loved to sing, and was a member of several church choirs.  She was also an avid reader.  She was a long-time resident of Solon and Twinsburg, OH and most recently resided in a nursing facility in North Ridgeville, OH.

Dorla is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Letha Packard, sister Arlene Kushin, brother Elgin Packard, and husband John Towslee.  She is survived by her children Jon (Laura) Towslee of Sagamore Hills, OH and Denine (Jerry) Rukavina of North Ridgeville, OH.  She was the proud grandmother to David (Danielle) Towslee, Brandon Towslee, Katelyn Towslee, and Kaleigh Rukavina.

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, from 5-7pm and funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 10:00am at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
