Dorothy Anita Smith, 71, of Maple Heights, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 22, 1953, to the late Samuel and Dorothy Bryant (nee Jackson). Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, L.C. Smith; her parents; her siblings, Brenda, Cynthia, Ralph, Richard, Wilson, Dempsey, and her twin sister, Dorthea; her nieces, Renita and Carolyn; and her nephew, Carlton.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory, loving nieces and nephews: Tamara (James) Henderson, Sandy (Andre) Douglas, Anthony Bryant, Richard Bryant, and Frank Elliott; great nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 3 pm at the Harvard Community Center, 18240 Harvard Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44128.
