Edward J. Spencer (Whitey), age 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 29th 2018 surrounded by his family in his home in Northfield. He was born on November 10th 1940 as the 3rd of 5 children. Ed spent many years racing his number 21 race car at Cloverleaf Speedway with his wife Nancy. He was also the owner of his own Towing company, Spencer's Towing for 44 years. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sister's and 2 brothers. Ed will be remembered as a loving father and devoted husband. Ed is survived by his wife Nancy Spencer of 45 years, children Ed Jr., Anita, Tracy, Tammy and Donna, 12 grand children, 13 great grand children and his many nieces and nephews. All of these he loved and touched deeply. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 4th from 4 to 8 at Blessing-Hine funeral home at 8592 Darrow Rd in Twinsburg Entombment Friday morning at 10:30.
