Eileen Raun, a child of God, went home to her Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday 12 April 2023. She received Last Rights with her family hours before passing.

Eileen was born in Philadelphia PA on 3 JAN 1943 to Leonard and Christine Haag. She grew up in West Chester PA, Aiken SC and Newark DE. She graduated with a BA from the University of Delaware in 1965. Eileen married Robert (Bob) Raun on 17 JUL 1965. She taught junior high art in Delaware for two years supporting her husband's graduate program. She then traveled from base to base after her husband went on active duty for four years. During the military years she had two daughters, Christine Marie, and Kara Anne. Eileen's life was dedicated to the Lord in 1976 after a Saul -Paul conversion while living near DC. After moving back to Ohio, she became a Director of Christian Education and then joined her husband in a business which took her around the world. She used that venue to witness Jesus and established a non-profit, Le Papillon, to support ministry to youth.

Eileen is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bob, daughters Kara (Rocque) Trem and Christine (Ron) Smierciak; and her eight grandchildren - Jake (Brittney) Smierciak, Zach (Kelsey) Smierciak, Alex Smierciak (fiancée Belle), Nate Smierciak, Sydney Trem, Kendyl Trem, Max Trem, and Cassidy Trem.  Eileen was blessed with three great grandchildren (Juni, Rocco and Cooper).  Eileen relished her family, daily calls with her daughters, and conversing with her grandchildren, listening to their exuberance and concerns, hopes and dreams, witnessing her faith. Eileen was a prayer warrior, encouraging prayer teams at St Luke's Church, an Anglican church in Copley OH with a long history of healing, speaking truth, renewal, and encouraging all to come into the Presence of the Lord through the Holy Spirit.

Services will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 55 Atterbury Blvd, Hudson OH on Saturday 22 APR 2023 with calling hours from 10 -11AM followed by a Celebration of Life officiated by Rev Canon Jeff Smead and Rev Canon Andrea Orchard.
