Elias Michael Nicholas born in Bo, Sierra Leone, West Africa to Alfred & Sumai (Rizk) Nicholas, has lived the last 30 years in Northeast Ohio. Most know him for his generosity and humorous stories at home & work. For months he fought a good fight against lung cancer. Sunday August 20, 2023 he passed peacefully at Hillcrest Hospital.

Preceded in death by sister Nadia (Randy) Stockman & brother Kamil Nicholas. He is survived by brother Joe (Becky) Nicholas, Marie (Ben) Hay, & Anita (Salah) Haddad. Niece & nephews Abby & Andrew Nicholas, Carla (Corey) Studd, Joe, Michelle, Lillian & Fousta Haddad.

Elias has always been great at making flavorful & delicious foods. Family & friends rave about his spicy peanut kabobs. Most of his career was spent as a chef making others happy with his flair for cooking. As a chef at Nicky & Smitty's in Aurora for over a decade, his cooking style & knowledge of people's favorite foods will be sorely missed.
