Elizabeth Ann Bires, 76, of Macedonia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025. She was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on October 21, 1948, to the late Edward and Margaret Polenik (nee Kuntz). Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Bires.

Elizabeth will be missed dearly by her family. Loving mother of Joseph Bires and Steven (Lisa) Bires; cherished grandmother of Natalie Bires; dear sister of Shirley (Frank) Sartiano; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
