Ellis M. Smith, age 87 of Parma Heights, entered into rest February 24, 2006. A recipient of the Purple Heart in WWII, Mr. Smith retired from the Army in 1966 as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. Beloved father of Daniel and Robert Smith and Kathy Sidoti, grandfather of nine, great grandfather of four, great, great grandfather of two. Dear brother of Jack and Chuck Smith. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy (nee Dolby), daughter Susan McGowan, four brothers and three sisters. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1 FROM 11AM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE AT 12 NOON, AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME AT CROWN HILL, 8592 DARROW RD., TWINSBURG, OH (1/2 MILE SOUTH OF I-480, RT. 91 EXIT) .
