Frances Craig (nee Lyons) began her peaceful celebrated journey of life on February 9, 1943, in Atlanta, Georgia. Adored and lifelong loved by the late parents Frank Lyons and Cecelia Lyons (nee Ware) who nurtured her throughout her childhood. Frances received her education within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, in Cleveland Ohio. Frances Craig, affectionately known as Peaches, 81, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024.

Daily, Frances celebrated the treasured memories of her three children with laughter and joy. Always smiling and caring for others and a sweet reminder to wear a hat. An enjoyer of travel on road trips. Free from worry as she enjoyed shopping for her favorite shoes and handbags, baking the most delicious rolls, cookies and cakes during the holiday season.

She later joined by a union with Raymond Craig on July 5, 1978, and enjoyed 45 years full of love, comfort and cherished memories to this very day.

Frances was preceded in death, her parents Frank and Cecelia Lyons; daughter, Majuana Smith; son, Brent Lyons; grandson, Aaron Broome; brothers, Frank Lyons Jr. and Melvin Lyons. Frances will be missed dearly by her family she leaves to cherish her memory. Beloved husband Raymond Craig; loving mother of daughter Tara Townsend, Diane Craig, Steve Craig, and Pamela Smith; cherished grandchildren Michael Smith, daughter in law Jamila J. Smith, Dontez Smith and Jazzma Bell; great-grandchildren Aniyah Smith, Michael Smith, Malaya Smith, Ci'Mariya Smith, Zariyah Montfort, Da'ud Samir, and Christopher Hubbard; sister of Miriam Lyons and Donald Lyons; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Frances Craig was a cherished gift that we will remember and hold tightly in our spirits and hearts forever.

Visitation and funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Visitation from 12 noon – 1 pm. Memorial Service at 1pm. Interment immediately following service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
