Gloria Jean Davies, 84, of Macedonia, Ohio passed away surrounded by family on January 15, 2026. She was born on January 24, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late David and Ruth Schwartz. Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Davies and her parents.

Gloria loved life, loved travel and loved helping others.  She worked hard her entire life and was the owner of Carpet Country, a successful floor covering business, even taking on the role as first female president of the NEOFCA for a time.  It's through this business that she and Ray met so many dear friends, with whom they would spend years traveling the world.  She kept her wry sense of humor, which charmed all she encountered, until the very end.

Gloria will be deeply missed by her family. Loving mother of David Davies; dear sister of Toni (Larry) Burruel; cherished sister-in-law of John (Nancy) Davies; dear aunt of Kim (Joe) Timmons, Larry (Michelle) Burruel; and Kim (Alfred) Romo, Jamie (John) Laurent, Kristen Davies and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. A funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 am, also at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery at 12 noon.
