Harley G. Smith, age 88, is survived by his beloved wife Marie of 68 years. Dearest father of David (Karen), Michael (Sandi) and Brian (Cindy). Grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Harley was the son of Ruth and John Smith of Cleveland Ohio, younger brother of the late Kenneth (Jean). He died on July 8 ^th at Lake West Hospital due to complications brought on by the Covid-19 virus. He was a lifetime resident of the Cleveland Ohio area.

He enjoyed the outdoors as a youngster, which lasted throughout his life. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War and he loved his country. He was a person that was well liked and was always willing to help anyone he met.

He met the love of his life Marie A. Geiger as a teenager and they were married before he was deployed to the Korean War. He referred to her as Babe throughout their lives.

If you knew Harley, you knew how much he loved his family and friends. We will miss his ability to find humor in almost anything and his love for Marie is something that will last forever.

There will be a private burial for immediate family per Harley. The family thanks you for all your support and various relationships he had over the years.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
