Hazel Donat was born on May 3 1935 in Mt. Union PA. She was adopted in 1937 by Harry and Edna Brown. She grew up in Cleveland OH. She worked for the phone company as an operator after graduating high school.

Hazel married John Donat on September 15 1956 and was married to him until July 5 1997. Hazel spent her life raising their three children and was a dedicated, caring, loving mother. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. She enjoyed bird watching along with walks in the park with her husband. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and game nights with her family. She collected giraffes, pelicans and birds.

Hazel is preceded by John Donat (husband), Cathy Maniche (daughter), parents and grandparents. Hazel is survived by her three children Karen Minke (Rick Minke) of Aurora OH, Linda Wiltrout of Aurora OH and John Donat of Excelsior Springs MO. Grandchildren Rebecca Angell of North Ridgeville OH and Clayton Wiltrout of Aurora OH.
