Beloved husband of 56 years to Ruth (nee Bledsoe); loving father of Michael (Barb), Jarrett (Sherrie), Richard (Pam), Glenda (Greg) Patch, Cindy (Tim) Roderick, Dennis (Susan), Kathy (Dave) Hulett and Daniel (Loren); devoted grandfather of 20 and great-grandfather of 10 ; dear brother of Clay Spears, Ernestine Craiger and Ruth Ann Pair.
