Beloved wife of 56 years to Billy Pennington (deceased). Devout mother to Terry (Kim) Pennington and Deborah (Scott) Kovach. Inis passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She was predeceased by her parents, Lawson and Lillie Compton; loving grandmother to Dawn (Donny) Luette, TJ Pennington, Erica (George) Keilholtz, Autumn and Reese Kovach; great-grandmother to Logan, Dalyla, and Dean; loving sister to Namis (deceased), Lacey (deceased), Otis (deceased), Bruce (deceased), Betty (deceased), Guy (deceased), Ruth, Lillie and Scott (deceased). Inis was a devout Christian who loved attending church at Columbus Street Church of Christ. She was an accomplished seamstress, loved gardening, baking and crafting, and had a flair for quilting. In her younger days she enjoyed bowling and pinochle. And let's not forget - a dog lover. She will be missed by all that knew her. Forever in our hearts, always in our prayers. A private memorial service will be held for the family on Nov 24 at Hine Funeral Home. Internment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio.
