Inita Jean Johnson, 77, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 25, 1947, she was one of 5 siblings to the late Estar and Mabel Johnson. Though her time has come to an end she now rejoins her baby sister and best friend Patricia Ann Johnson and her two older brothers Estar Johnson, Jr., and Nathan Johnson.
Inita never had children of her own but she raised her sisters' children Alex S Johnson & Christien Johnson-Baker after her passing. She loved them as if they were her own, they are left to carry on her legacy.
Inita was innovative in the early days of technology traveling America for work, meeting people everywhere she traveled and touching countless lives. She spent a decade living in California working hard and spending quality time with friends and family including her aunts and uncles Mattie, Janice, Joan and Frank "Brother". Even when she returned to Ohio she continued to travel America but also made time to spend with her family and closest friends who were more like family.
Through the years the lives that Inita has touched are countless. She always spoke her mind on topics no matter how tough the conversation might be, but had a one of a kind soul. She showed love to people in so many ways whether it was cooking you a hot meal, welcoming you into her home , or sitting talking on the phone for hours about whatever issues that you might be dealing with.
Inita will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Beloved mother & aunt of Alex S. Johnson and Christien Johnson Baker; loving sister of Earl Johnson; dear aunt of Toni, Chris, Scottie, Chuckie, and Tony; dear niece of Mattie, Janice, Joan, and Frank "Brother": cherished Sister Friends of Beverly (Greg) Morton, Sam Anderson, Danna Rhinehart and Jeanette (Robert) Wright; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
