Irene Velma Layman, age 95, entered into rest January 8, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Donald Robert Layman of Cleveland, OH; loving mother of Donald Eugene Layman (Donna) of Moulton, AL; dearest sister of Clara Jean Edwards of Charleston, WV; Lois Ann Dennis of Weirton, WV; sister-in-law of Howard Sole of Moundsville, WV; devoted grandmother of Ginger Davis (John) of Florence, AL; Wendi Morgan (Carl) of Signal Mountain, TN; Jonathan Layman (Jamie) of Moulton, AL; cherished great-grandmother of Garrison Christopher Davis, Paul Daniel Morgan, Mary Helen Morgan, Pruitt David Layman, and Nella Glenn Layman; she was loved by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Bernard D. and Tassie H. (nee Cumberledge) Garrison; sisters Mary Madeline McKelvey, Evelyn Gertrude Menefee, Mabel Margaret Garrison, Norma Lee Sole; and brothers James Albert Garrison, Berle Eugene Garrison, and Donald Wayne Garrison. FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2015 FROM 11 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF FUNERAL SERVICE AT 12:00 P.M. AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME 8592 DARROW RD. TWINSBURG, OH (1/2mile S. of I-480, Route 91 exit). Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, OH. Officiating will be Thomas Rucks, elder of Euclid Church of Christ.
