Obituary

Jacqueline D. Benhoff, (nee Baxter), of Twinsburg, Ohio, born on
May 16, 1931, passed away on January 19, 2023 at the age of 91.

Jackie is preceded in death by her father Lewis E. Baxter and mother
Clara Heath Benz. She is survived by her loving husband Edward
S.,Benhoff, daughters Sherrie (Mike) Lachman, Judy (Wayne)
Jenkins, Holly Lynn Chant (Ken) Eggert, step-daughters Becky (Bill)
Kent, Carrie and Amy, brother Edd (Janet) Kovac, Grandchildren
Laura, Jacey, Stephen, Wendy, Patricia, Melissa, Lizzy, Jessie, Katy,
Brianna, Iza, Jared, Great-grandchildren Tristan, Sadie, Evelyn, Kara,
Lawsyn, Brooks, Krue, Sloane, and loving nieces and nephews.

Jackie was born in Syracuse, NY and moved to East Cleveland with
her mother in 1937 at the age of six. She graduated from Shaw High
School, class of '48 and was involved in many social activities as a
sorority member and majorette. She loved to dance and taught tap
dancing in her youth. After high school, she raised a family with
three daughters in Euclid, then Lyndhurst and eventually settled in
Twinsburg where she and Ed have lived for 30 years. During this
time, Jackie worked as an office administrator winning several awards
from Siemens Medical Systems for her hard work and dedication. She
retired in 1996.

Ed and Jackie had a fairytale romance marrying in 1993, 30 years
after meeting at Hupp Corporation. Throughout their marriage they
enjoyed world travels together and had an extraordinary number of
friends, many through GYRO an international friendship fraternity.

Jackie was beautiful, a loving wife, mother and homemaker. A hard
worker, she dedicated herself to both her family and career with grace.
A strong lady who survived hardships with a positive attitude, Jackie
will be dearly remembered as a fun-loving, happy, cheerful person
who always wore a smile. She was our sunshine!
