James Charles Meiburger, age 57, died peacefully on October 2, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents George and Joyce Meiburger, he is survived by his six siblings: Damien (Susan) of Bainbridge Island, WA; Susan (Larry) Marks of Hudson, OH; John of Stow, OH; Richard (Beatriz) of Damascus, MD; Mary (Steve) Loomis of Hudson, OH and Sally (Anthony) Giglio-tos of Forest Hill, MD. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.

Born in Oklahoma City on June 19, 1959, Jim grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and attended St. Anselm''s Abbey High School in Washington, D.C. He excelled academically and was a proud graduate of Georgetown University and Georgetown University Law School. He worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, DC before retiring in 2009 and moving to Ohio in 2012.

Jim had a sharp intelligence, keen wit, and sense of fun. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was a loving son, and cherished brother and uncle who will be deeply missed.

The family wishes to thank the nurses, aides and staff of Heartland Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice in Twinsburg, OH for their kind and attentive care.

Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Blessing-Hine Funeral Home, Twinsburg, OH, on Friday, October 14 from 10:30 - 12:30. A short memorial service will begin at noon. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Jim''s memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or your local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
