IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jametta L.
Freeland
September 11, 1956 – February 23, 2018
In Loving Memory
Jametta Lynn Freeland, age 61 of Twinsburg entered into rest on February 23rd, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of Dale Freeland of 17 years, loving mother of Melanie Taylor-White (Kevin) and Marc Taylor (Alicia) and cherished grandmother to Jadyn, Tyler, Austin and Spencer. Loving sister to Tony (Katy), Tim (Valerie) and Lori (Tim). Loving Aunt to Bernard, T.j., Tony Jr., Stacey, Erin, Mary, Rachel, Andrew, Missy, Kayden, Ginny and Jason. And friend to many.
Jametta's grandchildren were her life. She was the matriarch and anchor of our family. She made everyone she took under her wing feel so loved and wanted. She was a true leader and cared for the hearts of many. She is a profound loss that will leave a tremendous scar on the hearts of those she loved. You truly know what it's like to be loved having been loved by her. Jametta was the greatest gift to those whose lives she touched.
"She was the best thing that ever happened to me."-Dale
"I love that she came to my shows and drove her scooter right through the mosh pit (beeping her horn) to be able to see me play the drums. And she taught me how to use the key to get into her candy drawer when I was really young. She always wanted to be there for us." -Jadyn
"My grandma Jam was one of the most kind, caring, funny and influential people in my life. She always made any moment fun and happy. She wouldn't sugar coat things either, straight to the point and hilarious while doing so. She was the most amazing grandmother with the loudest, purest laugh. She was an amazing friend to everyone." -Tyler
"She made me feel loved every single day. Her intentions were so pure. She was kind, she was calm, she was the happy in everyday of my life. I still need her." -Melanie
"She was the sigh of relief right when we needed it as children; and she never stopped. She was relentlessly selfless. I'll never forget how much warmth and light she brought to us. This entire world will be different forever without her and that laugh. She always made me feel happiness right away as soon as I heard it. She was the constant reminder of what life is supposed to be about. Love. Patience. Forgiveness. I love her, forever" -Marc
"She was more like a second mom to me rather than an aunt." -Missy
"When I talked to her about life, good or bad, as soon as she smiled, all worry was gone." -Kevin
