Jane A Hunter

Jane Ardys Hunter, 83, passed from this life on April 17, 2023 in Tallmadge, Ohio. She was born February 26, 1940 to Horace and Ardys (Rhodes) Ensinger in Akron, Ohio.  She graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1958.  She retired from Kent City Schools after 30 years.  She married Dennis "Denny" Hunter on November 7, 1959 and they had four children; Todd, Jeff, Craig and Sheila. Denny passed away on April 18, 2001.  After her children were grown and her senior years arrived, she enjoyed going on Paskey senior trips to places like Vermont and New York as well as many day trips closer to home.

Jane is survived by her children, Todd (Rhonda Rodgers) Hunter, Jeff Hunter, Craig Hunter, and Sheila (Louis) Bauza; grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel), Kyle, and Matt Hunter, and Madison and Morgan Bauza; cousin, Cheryl (Bob) Cole, and her faithful companion Cooper.  She was preceeded in death by her parents and her husband Denny.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Portage Animal Protective League, 8122 Infirmary Road, Ravenna, Ohio  44266 in memory of Jane. Private family services were planned under the direction of Crown Hill Funeral Home.
