Janet Rae Antonovich Manges (nee Carroll) of Hartville passed away on May 2, 2023.

Janet was born on May 18, 1943 to the late Archie and Mattie Carroll of Hammond, Indiana.  She worked as an administrative assistant in various positions, with the latest position at the Methodist Church in Bremen, Indiana.  Janet ran a home based business as a professional cake decorator and candy maker for most of her professional life. Janet was also an avid reader, taking time to transport herself into other worlds from literature. Her favorite thing to do, though, was taking care of her grandchildren, Braeden and Xander.

Janet will be greatly missed by her loving family; daughter Dianna (Mark) Funk; grandchildren Braeden and Xander Funk; nephews, Artie Munoz and Steve (Cindy) Banse; and niece Terri Hemmah.  Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Rich Austin; niece Karen Munoz; sister and brother in law, Betty (Bill) Banse; and brothers, Don Carroll and Robert Carroll.

There will be no formal services for Janet, at her request. Inurnment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Janet's name to:
