Alex Michael Gothard 1960 and husband Robert A Gosser 1991 Chief of Police Hudson Twp, sister Carole
Horsfall, brother Nelson Bowers. Survived by brother Glenn Bowers (Kay) Dallas TX and brother George
Bowers (Rita) Stow Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Graduated from Northfield Macedonia High
School and Fenn College Cleveland Ohio. She worked many years at the GM, Euclid/Terex
Manufacturing Facility in Hudson Ohio until its closing and retired from ALLTEL Communication in
Hudson. Jan was very active volunteering in Stow Community services for many years, American Legion,
Stow Parks and Recreation, Red Hat Society, Unity Chapel of Light in Tallmadge, Rotary and Stow
Sunshiners with so many wonderful people. She loved traveling the world and meeting people, visiting
Australia, British Isles, Europe and walking the Great Wall of China and last year the Galapagos Islands
and Machu Picchu, Peru. A special thank you to the entire staff at Summa hospital, the Emergency Room
staff, ICU, Oncology nursing care, a very compassionate talented group of people. Also Stow Glen
Nursing Home and Summa Hospice nurse Phil, for his constant daily updates and care and to all the
family and friends that took a moment to send her support that meant so much to her. A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD FOR HER ON SATURDAY, JUNE 6th, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. AT UNITY CHAPEL OF LIGHT, 503 N.W. Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278.
