JIMMIE (COLLINS) YEARY, age 70, of Akron, passed away peacefully with his family by his side August 12. Beloved husband of 35 years to Lucille, loving father of Karen and Sharon. Devoted brother of Walt (Wanda), Joe (Ruthann), Grover aka Ham, James (Nancy), Roger, Millie (Don) Neal, Peggy Brady, Patty Holodnak, and Susie (Dewey) Adkins. Jimmie was a special uncle to Julie Mills and a loving grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 7, and uncle to many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Grover Collins, mother, Gracie Collins and Sister Matty. Jimmie retired from Chrysler in 1980, coached Little League Baseball and enjoyed fishing, bowling and stock car racing. The family will receive friends MONDAY, AUGUST 14, 2006 FROM 4-8 PM AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME AT CROWN HILL, 8592 DARROW RD., TWINSBURG, OH (1/2 MILE SOUTH OF I-480, RT. 91 EXIT) where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Ernie and Sister Brenda Mounts, with special speaker Reverend Jimmie Ellis will be officiating. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
