JOE P. DiPAOLA, age 87, of Troy entered into rest October 29, 2010. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Konicek); dear son of the late Sam and Fortunata; loving brother of Jess Barnes; beloved uncle of 24; great-uncle to many. Preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Joe was a Corporal in the U.S. Army in England and France during WWII and a recipient of the Bronze Star as well as other military honors. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and enjoyed woodworking and dogs. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2010 FROM 10 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE AT 12 P.M. NOON AT THE BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 8592 DARROW RD., TWINSBURG, OH (1/2 mile S. of 1-480 Rt. 91 exit). Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
