John Robert "Bob" Leonard , age 81, of Northfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025. Born on December 12, 1943, in Van Wert, Ohio, he was the son of the late John Henry and Virginia (née Pennell) Leonard. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Leonard.

Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Always quick with a joke or funny story, Bob was kind and easy going.  His calm presence was a steady reassurance to those he loved.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Claudia (née Lapka); his loving son Brent (Leslie) Leonard; and his treasured grandchildren, Elise, Claire, and Quinn Leonard. He is also remembered fondly by extended family and dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Crown Hill Cemetery.
