JOHN A. SARACENO on Easter morning, April 5, 2015, age 91, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus to enter into eternal life. Born on Oct. 30, 1923, in Queen, PA, he lived most of his life in Hudson, OH. He was the son of Antonio & Caterina (Ferruccio) Saraceno. Both were Italian immigrants who preceded him in death; he lost his father when he was only 8. John was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1946. He was a hardworking tradesman & a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 120 for 65 years. He attended St. Mary Catholic Church. He loved gardening and fishinga true outdoorsman; his produce was some of the finest. His pastime was playing Bingo. Oh boy, the stories we heard!He leaves his only daughter, Diane Blue, of Akron; his nieces, Theresa Scicchitano and Catherine Palaia, both of NJ, and their families as well his great niece, Ann Marie (Bruce) Rowland, of Akron, to mourn his loss. He also leaves many friends.Family will receive friends, FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 2015, FROM 11:00AM UNTIL THE TIME OF FUNERAL SERVICES AT 1:00PM AT THE BLESSING-HINE FUNERAL HOME, 8592 DARROW ROAD, TWINSBURG, OH 44087( ½ MILE S. OF I-480, RT. 91 EXIT). Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
