Joyce Marie Tentler, formerly of Solon, Ohio, resident of Northfield Oh, went peacefully to meet her Lord on April 27, 2023.

Born Joyce Marie Hovanec in Cleveland, Ohio November 4, 1935 to the late Andrew and Dorothy Hovanec, dear sister to Jeanne (deceased) Shaw. Mother to John A. (Jack) Tentler (Lisa), Ronald A. Tentler (Jen), William A. Tentler, and Frank J. Tentler. Grandmother to Valerie Tentler, April Tentler, Ariel Tentler, Steven Tentler, Megan Tentler, Sarah Tentler, and Lorelei Tentler. Great Grandmother to Brianna Olivera, Samantha Olivera, Vanessa Weiland, Xavier Ibarra and Great Great Grandmother to Sophia Olivera. Dear Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

While a resident of Solon, she was an active member of the PTA, Solon Comets Boosters, employed as a Solon school bus driver, sports writer for the local paper, and various other school activities, as well as a Gold Star Daughter.

The family will receive visitors at Crown Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00pm.  A mass of Christian burial will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11:00 am followed by burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.
