Judith (Judy) F. Petric, 77 of West Salem, Oh, passed away on January 29, 2019 . She was born August 12, 1941 to John L. and Frances (Peterlin) Milavec in Cleveland, Ohio.  Judy married Joseph F. Petric on June 23, 1962 at St. Vitus Church in Cleveland, Ohio.  Together they raised their five children in Twinsburg, Ohio where Judy was very involved in Girl Scouts and in many school activities.  She was always willing to help out wherever she was needed.  Her greatest achievement was serving as Chairperson of the campaign to raise monies for the purchase of new band uniforms for the Twinsburg High School Band in 1981-82.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.  During her lifetime, she made many afghans, sweaters and various other items for her family and friends, as well as various charitable organizations.

She is survived by her husband Joe, of 56 years, sister Joanne, of Littleton Colo., sons Jeffrey (Jennifer) and James (Eileen), daughters Jeanette (Chris) Seiling, Joanne (Scott) Meredith and Jennifer (Alexis) Petric-Black; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous cousins.  FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2019 FROM 2PM UNTIL 6PM AT THE BLESSING-HINE FUNERAL HOME, 8592 DARROW RD. (1/2 mi. S. of I-480, Rt. 91 exit). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 10AM at S.S. Cosmas and Damian Parish, 10419 Ravenna Rd., Twinsburg OH 44087, with Fr. Michael Stalla, officiating. Family and friends, please meet at church.  Interment to follow Mass at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Judy's name be made to Ohio Hospice Lifecare, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691, for the wonderful care they provided her during her need or to your favorite charity.
