Obituary

Lillian "Dolly" Klos, 98, loving mother to Tom and mother-in-law to Marlene, grandmother to her special girls, Erin and Kristen, passed away gently on the morning of April 28 th at her apartment in Houston, Texas.

She was the loving daughter to her parents Ray and Lillian Kostal:  her dear sister Laverne and her son, Daryl (all deceased).

Aunt Doll was a fun and loving aunt to Dale and Sandra, Dean and Kathleen, Deb and Larry and their families.

Dolly had so many friends and great neighbors during her lifetime which explains her great smile and fun personality.

Her friends and neighbors at Paradise Springs, missed her so much that most of them asked to keep her treasured stuffed cats that were her comfort and constant companions.  The cats go everywhere, exercise class, the rocking chair porch and even go to the dining hall.  Dolly will always be remembered for saying, "thank-you" with a big smile.

The highlights in Dolly's last four years were Erin and Reagan's beautiful wedding and meeting Kristen's Kyle for the first time and all their dogs. Of course, we cannot forget her most common question about getting to ride in Kristen's "red leather Elvis seated car" as she called it. Dolly loved the ocean, from her hotel in Daytona Beach to Sterling Village in Boynton Beach, to her beautiful lake where she resided in Solon.

The last three years were spent at "Paradise" in Houston, Texas going to her exercise class with friends, the big porch with rocking chairs, all the activities, and especially all the live music.

A celebration of her life was recently held at "Paradise" with a pianist playing all uplifting and jazzy songs with of course the only thing missing being her highball.  The music started off with "Hello Dolly" which brought cheers and clapping from all of her neighbors and friends during their lunch.  Dolly would have been tapping her feet and smiling if she was at her table, and if Jerry was there they would have of course been dancing!

Dolly loved her family, all the animals and loved life! Please join us for a memorial service as we reflect on our beloved Dolly.
