Linda Castellano - 4-1-1954 - 12-4-2020
Our sister Linda loved and shared her gifts. Devoted daughter caring for our mom with love and
understanding. Sharing her love and values with Jason, Ronald, Ryan, Rachel, Justin and
Nicky. Never judging, always a safe haven for them, a "mom" who accepted them with pride.
Our wonderful sister, born with energy for fun and adventure. She parachuted out of an
airplane and then raced off to an open cockpit plane to do more daring things.
Her numerous strengths included getting her degree later in life, after she had lived her dream
of having her own business. Everywhere she worked she was an awesome asset. Once when
she was laid off and was looking, most likely for an accounting position, I asked if she would
consider applying at the Doctor's office where we needed help. She applied, no one knew we
were sisters, got the job and became a certified x-ray technician, not an easy task. She was
always ready to challenge herself.
She was pleased and happy to have wonderful relationships with her bonus nieces, Ann,
Meredith and Laura. Her love and caring for Luke, Athena, Leila, Sofia, Lennon, Finn, Scarlett,
Simon, Veronica and Devin was a great source of joy. She was pleased to help Athena, Finn
and Sofia with home school during the pandemic. She loved her brothers Pat and Ron so
much, admiring their talents and love for their families.
Linda's love and desire to help was extended to her community at Assisted Living. Being one of
the younger residents she was always helping others with menus and other things. Linda and
her friend Dorothy crocheted lap blankets for all the residents and then continued to do so for
the new residents. Linda loved and supported so many friends and cousins, always ready to
listen. Their love was important to her well being.
We miss her so, we know her earthly struggles are over. Matthew 11:28-30 - "Come to me, all
you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn
from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke
is easy and my burden light." Linda M. Castellano 4/1/1954 - 12/4/2020. Survived by sisters
Victoria Morrison (Patrick) and Susan Gregory (Ronald). Nephews Jason Morrison (Ann),
Ronald Gregory (Meredith), Ryan Morrison (Laura) and niece Rachel Gregory. Stepchildren
Justin Castellano and Nicky Castellano, 8 great nieces and nephews and many loving cousins
and friends.
