Memorial Service for Lois M. Girnt, 93, of Twinsburg, will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Reverend Jeremy Merzweiler will officiate the service. Ms. Girnt passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Cleveland Clinic - Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights.  She was born May 19, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio.  She lived with her mother, in Euclid, Ohio, Pasadena, CA, and Las Vegas, NV, before moving to Twinsburg, where she lived with her longtime friend, Colleen Calvert.

Lois lived an active and vibrant life.  She worked at Carpenter Printing for several years while she lived in Cleveland.  And, she held part-time positions at Sea World and Allen Bradley well into her 80s, after moving to Twinsburg.

Lois made friends easily as she was a joy to be around, always making jokes and seeing the brighter side of life.  She loved her cars and was an avid collector; she, also, loved the magic of Disney.  Lois enjoyed her McDonald's coffee where she, also, liked to get an ice cream cone for her dogs Buddie and Shila.  She loved her family, friends, and all dogs.

Lois was the beloved daughter of Oscar and Rose (Koberna) Girnt and sister of LaVerne Luce, all who preceded her in death.  Lois was the treasured godmother to Loee Matousek-Garlisi and William Calvert.

Friends and family will gather to remember Lois at the Memorial Service on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, at 12:00 noon.  Lunch at D'Angelo's Italian Restaurant (7995 Darrow Road Twinsburg) will follow.
