IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louella Frances
Hein
September 6, 1939 – December 2, 2018
Louella F. Hein was born in Los Angeles, California on September 6, 1939.
After some time, her family moved to Ohio where she spent her years growing up in the Euclid area. She had two brothers. Dave and Jim and a sister, Barb. She attended the Euclid schools and graduated from Euclid High School.
In the late 50's, she moved to Portland, Oregon with her best friend Pat. In 1959, she married a young man by the name of Terry Shea. The two of them had two children, Kelly and Holly. They lived in Lake Oswego, Oregon. After 8 years, they took their family North to Issaquah, Washington. They lived there for two years. When the marriage ended, Lou moved with her two kids back to the Euclid area where her family was, to give her the support she needed.
In the early 1970's, through Parents Without Partners, she met Bob Harvey. Lou and Bob married in November of 1972. Lou brought into the new family her two children and Bob brought into the family his two children, Steve and Myra.
The new blended family moved to Eastlake, Ohio where they welcomed a child of their own one year later. A baby boy, David. Within the same year, they adopted Nghia from Vietnam when he was three years old. This became the new Harvey family. Lou, Bob, Kelly, Holly, Steve, Myra, Nghia and David. In 1978, the family moved to Moreland Hills for more room for their growing family.
In 1980, after her mother's passing, Lou gave her life to the Lord. When she came home, she was a changed person and because of that change through Christ, the whole family came to Christ within the year. The family attended The Chapel in Solon as their home church and grew in their faith in the Lord.
The last chapter in Lou's life was 27 years of being happily married to her sweetie, Ray Hein. These years consisted of having 13 grandchildren plus many more grandkids from Ray's 7 children.
In these last years, since Lou was diagnosed with subcortical dementia, family has been there to support and help her along the way. There were many good days where there was much laughter and joy. God called her home on Sunday December 2, 2018, where she will spend eternity with her Lord. She was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.
One of her favorite verses was Psalm 46:10 which says, "Be still and know that I am God."
