On July 25, 2022, Lucretia Johnson (Tricia) was called home by the Lord to receive her wings.

Tricia, a longtime resident of Kent, Ohio was born to Joseph Lawerence and Lula Johnson. Tricia was born in Warrensville Heights, Ohio and was a graduate of R. B. Chamberlain High School (Twinsburg) in 1979.

Tricia wore many hats in the Johnson/Townsend family; Mom, Granny (GiGi), Auntie, Sister and Friend. Being the matriarch of the Johnson/Townsend family, Tricia will always be remembered for her love for her family and her passion for cooking.

She is survived by her two lovely daughters, Takisha and Tamika (David) of Kent, and her three granddaughters Taijanae, Takera, and Waverly. Tricia is one of eight siblings, therefore is survived by Wallace (Alva), Arlena, Cherry, Lindsey, Helen, and a host of nieces and nephews. Tricia will always be loved and will not be forgotten.

Tricia is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Lula and Dorothy Townsend; and her very best friend "her wife" Mae Mae.

Private funeral services and calling hours will be for immediate family and close friends Monday August 1 ^, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.  at Crown Hill Funeral Home with burial to immediately follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
