Lucretia Ann Stovall, 83, of Akron, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024. A lifelong resident of Akron, Lucretia was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 11, 1941, to the late George and Elizabeth Malott (nee Kelly). In addition to her parents, Lucretia was preceded in death by her late husband, Kenneth "Sonny" Stovall, brothers – George Malott Jr., Ivan Malott, Carl Malott; and great-grandson Jordan.

Lucretia is survived by her loving daughters Belinda Fletcher, Vanessa Malott, Sylvia Porter, and Jackie (Edward) Richardson; grandchildren Antione Malott, Deshod Stovall, Damion Malott, Faith Fletcher, Tierria (Victor) Cox,  Latika (Kentrell) Dragg, Katrisha (Lavale) Crandall, and Lucretia Chanel Stovall; beloved great-grandmother of Chanel, Kain, McKinzi, Krystian, Aiyana, Jayden, Joseph, Nya, Dalen, Paige, Noah, Stella, Meyani, D'Maris, KrysJen, Javier, Kyree, Kentrell, Amia, and Jace; 6 great-great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory sisters Marguerite Bumpus, Gloria Weems, Cheryl (Miles) Cargill, brothers Michael (Delores)Malott, and Ronald Malott; and a host of nieces, nephews and cherish friends.

She attended Ebenezer Apostolic Church, where she was loved and cherished.   Lucretia was a retiree from K-Mart and spent many years working for Wal-Mart. Lucretia's compassionate and giving spirit poured into her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed running daily errands with her siblings.

Lucretia was an avid Ohio Lottery player who played her numbers twice a day. She loved her scratch-offs, water aerobics, cross word puzzles, game shows and spending time with family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1872 Arlington Road Akron, Ohio 44306 from 430pm-9:00pm, with dinner to follow.
