Magdalene L. Pullar, 85, passed away peacefully at Anna Maria Memory Care of Aurora, OH on October 23, 2021. She was born on September 7, 1936 to the late Rev. Bela & Ida (Tarczali) Bacso.

She was the beloved mother of Lynn Jereb (Pullar), David Pullar, and Sharon Pullar (deceased); grandmother of Leah Jereb; ex-wife of David Stewart Pullar (deceased); sister of Rosalie Gainer (Bacso), Elizabeth "Liz" Bacso (deceased), and Ida Hahn (Bacso) (deceased); and aunt to Mark Gainer and Todd Gainer.

Magdalene was a brilliant and multi-talented soul. She was valedictorian of Fairport Harbor High, received a full scholarship to study nursing at Johns Hopkins University, and taught the Master's Nursing program at Loma Linda University, CA. She sang in and arranged music for the San Diego chapter of Sweet Adelines International; her greatest joy winning the World Championship in Ireland. While her later years were clouded by Alzheimer's, she was able to play 'Clair de Lune' from memory for all to enjoy.
