Marie A. Smith, age 88 passed away on February 21, 2023. She is survived by her sons David (Karen), Michael (Sandi), and Brian (Cindy). She was a grandmother and great-grandmother to many. Marie is also survived by her sister Virgie (Max) Zelodec, children of John and Olga Geiger. She was preceded in death by her husband Harley G. Smith. She grew up as a child in Maple Hts., Ohio where she met and married her husband on 11/17/1951 then moved to Bedford Heights, Ohio where they raised their family.

After raising their three sons, they spent their lives in Willoughby, Ohio where many more memories were made with family and friends. Playing cards and Mexican train were among Marie's favorite past times and of course going to the casino both locally and out of state. What Marie enjoyed most was having a "Doings" with family and friends. Throughout the years, Marie never passed up the opportunity to be among those she loved when there was something to be celebrated. More importantly, she never missed an opportunity to cook and enjoy food with those she loved.

There will be a private burial for immediate family per Marie's request. The family would like to thank all family and friends for their support and relationships throughout the years.
